General

  • A standard bag is a 13-gallon kitchen trash bag weighing up to 15 pounds free of any rips or tears. If a bag exceeds the weight limit, it may incur an additional charge.

  • Most orders are returned fresh, clean, folded, and ready to put away within 48 hours. Rush service may be available for an additional fee.

  • No. As long as your laundry is placed in the designated pickup location, we'll collect and return it according to your scheduled service.

  • Payment is collected before your clean laundry is returned. We'll send your invoice after your laundry has been processed and before delivery.

  • We treat every order with care. If you have any concerns about your order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate and make it right.

  • To ensure the highest quality service, Happy Home Laundry currently specializes in everyday clothing, towels, sheets, and light blankets or comforters.

    At this time, we are unable to accept:

    • Heavily soiled or contaminated items

    • Clothing or linens exposed to bodily fluids

    • Moldy or mildew-covered items

    • Items with insects (such as bed bugs or fleas)

    • Rugs, curtains, or large household textiles

    • Sleeping bags

    • Oversized or heavily weighted blankets

    • Delicate garments requiring dry cleaning

    • Leather, suede, or fur items

Laundry Care

  • Absolutely. Every customer's laundry is washed, dried, and folded separately to ensure quality and prevent items from being mixed.

  • Yes! You can select from our available detergent options or provide your own detergent. We'll also save your laundry preferences for future orders.

  • Yes! Stain treatment is available as an optional add-on for $5 per item.

    If you request stain treatment, we'll use specialized products and techniques to give the stain the best possible chance of being removed. While many stains can be significantly improved or removed, results cannot be guaranteed due to the type of stain, fabric, or how long the stain has been set.

  • No. Standard laundry service includes washing, drying, and folding according to your laundry preferences. If you'd like us to provide additional stain treatment for a specific item, simply select the stain treatment add-on when booking or let us know before your order is processed.

  • Want to skip folding and putting clothes away? With our Closet Ready add-on, we'll return your eligible garments on the hangers you provide, making it easy to transfer them straight into your closet. Just include a bag of hangers with your first order, and we'll take care of the rest.

  • Yes. To use our Closet Ready service, please provide your own hangers with your first order. We'll keep them on file and return your garments on those hangers with each Closet Ready order. If additional hangers are needed or replacements are required, we'll let you know before processing your order.

  • Please place your laundry in a standard 13-gallon kitchen trash bag. This is the size used to calculate our pricing and helps us ensure consistent service. If your order requires multiple bags, simply separate your laundry into additional 13-gallon bags.

  • Pricing is based on the number of standard 13-gallon laundry bags in your order. Specialty items, add-ons, and delivery fees may be priced separately.

  • We know your time is valuable. That's why we'll send appointment reminders and "On My Way" notifications through Housecall Pro before your scheduled pickup or delivery. If anything changes with your appointment, we'll reach out right away to keep you informed.

  • We're always looking for ways to serve more of Central Kentucky! If your town isn't currently listed, please contact us. Depending on your location and schedule, we may still be able to accommodate your pickup and delivery request.
